GMVCC Children & Family Programs enrich the lives of young children and their families by providing a variety of opportunities for learning, growth and exploration in a community setting. Programs support and enrich family life and community life through parent/baby/toddler groups, parent education, family education, social programs and holiday celebrations. Financial aid scholarships (PDF 1.0 MB) are available. Additional activity fees may apply.

Early Childhood
GMVCC strives to support parents as their children’s first caregivers by encouraging parent involvement through an array of parent-child programs that include our popular Toddler Time drop-in play group and our Play & Learn School Readiness Co-op. Parents can also research local preschools at our annual Preschool Resource Fair.
Family & Community
GMVCC builds community among parents as well as children through social, recreational and educational programs for the whole family. Activities include Family Night, Crop & Craft, Kids' Creations, Safe Sitter® babysitting classes, and more!
Special Events
The GMVCC Children & Family Program is pleased to offer a variety of special events including Safe Sitter® Parents Night Out, our bi-annual Kids & Baby Clothing Exchange, and our annual Community Egg Hunt and Halloween Trick or Trucks events.
Parent Support Groups
Don’t feel alone! Parents can find answers to their questions at monthly parent support group meetings. The “BRIDGES” IEP Parents and Home School Support meet monthly at the Community Center.

Emergency Assistance
GMVCC provides information and referral for all your housing needs including emergency, low-income, and special needs housing.
Community Outreach
GMVCC is pleased to offer special programming for children who need support in our community. Programs include our popular Peanut Butter Jelly & Books summer reading program and Shop with a Cop.
