The mission of Communities That Care is to create a safe supportive community for youth in Maple Valley. The Greater Maple Valley Community Center is one of many local organizations and individuals who have partnered to work together on awareness, communication, and a coordinated action to prevent and reduce youth violence and substance abuse in our community.

BEARS Mentoring
Be a friend to a child who needs a little bit more
The BEARS Mentoring program is looking for you! Volunteer 8 hours a month and make a difference in the life of a child. Orientation and training are provided.
Requirement: Mentors must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a screening process which includes a criminal background check, a personal interview, reference checks.
