The Greater Maple Valley Community Center is one of many local organizations and individuals who have partnered to work together on awareness, communication, and a coordinated action to prevent and reduce youth violence and substance abuse in our community.

BEARS Mentoring

BEARS Mentoring

Be a friend to a child who needs a little bit more

The BEARS Mentoring program is looking for you! Volunteer 8 hours a month and make a difference in the life of a child. Orientation and training are provided.

Requirement: Mentors must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a screening process which includes a criminal background check, a personal interview, reference checks.
