GMVCC offers a wide variety of programming for teens in grades 6-12. Our programs offer opportunities in educational enrichment, creative expression, service and leadership, and social activities for building friendships and community. Our dedicated staff of teen professionals guide teens through all activities and help them grow and value themselves personally. From classes to teen dances and everything in between, our programs have a little something for everyone.

Weekly summer trips for teens 6th-12th grades include camping, kayaking, rafting, rock climbing, Gameworks, Family Fun Center, Wild Waves and a special trip to Silverwood Theme Park in Idaho! Space is limited!
“The Den” Teen Center is a drop-in after school and Saturday hang-out for teens in 6th-12th grades.
Junior High and Senior High teens are invited to join us for our Youth ONLY Open House on Friday, January 18th from 7-10 pm!
The Den will open its doors to the general public for a Community Open House on Sunday, January 20th from 2-5 pm. See you there!

Teen Movie Nights, Open Mic Nights, Middle School Dances, concerts and more! Teen Nights provide a safe environment where youth can socialize and interact with each other in a positive way. Youth in grades 6-12 who attend school or live within the Tahoma School District are invited to attend.
Youth Council is a peer program designed to build partnerships for positive healthy development that engage youth as active leaders and resources in their communities. Youth Council programs foster leadership, resiliency and protective factors in young people through action-oriented meetings using fun activities and a high-energy format.
This after school program offered at Cedar River and Tahoma Middle Schools includes arts & crafts, games, sports, team building and goal setting. FREE! Snacks provided. Parent permission required. Join the FUN!
Now recruiting for peer educators! DateWise volunteers are trained to provide in-school presentations to middle and high school youth on the topic of dating violence.
