Haunted House

Prepare to scream

Regular admission is $5.00 per person to go once through the haunted house and receive a free glow bracelet. OR pay only $8.00 per person to go twice through and receive a free glow necklace. Glow accessories ($1.00 - $3.00) are also available for sale while supplies last.

Presented by Maple Valley Youth Council and The Den Youth Center. Proceeds benefit Youth Council year-round activities and events at The Den.

Battle of the Bands

Clash of the Dueling Muscians

SATURDAY - APRIL 14, 2012

We want you to be a part of the 2012 Battle of the Bands! Continuing a long and epic tradition, the Maple Valley Youth Council will host another Battle of the Bands. Expect large screaming audiences, and considerable prizes for the best three bands.  In previous years, we gave away cool loot and recording time to the top performing bands.

Twelve bands will be chosen by Maple Valley Youth Council to compete in the 2012 Battle of the Bands. The majority of band members must be under 23 years of age. Each band will have twenty minutes of play time and your playlist must include at least one original song. Prizes will be awarded to the top three bands. If you want to perform, just download the Battle of the Bands Application Packet and start filling it out.  Get it back to us by the April 4, 2012 registration deadline. Each individual band member must also complete and sign the Performer Contract (PDF 40 KB). All proceeds from band registrations benefit Maple Valley Youth Council projects.

Tech Specifications: The Den uses a Mackie Onyx 24.4 mixer into EAW mains and subs. The Den will provide a sound engineer for the event. Any specific sound requests must be submitted to The Den at least seven (7) days prior to show date.

Rock out to the music of great local bands! Whether you're chillin' out to a summer concert or helping raise funds for local and international causes, The Den is your source for great music. Check out our concert schedule below.

Want to do a concert at The Den? Submit a Concert Application Form (PDF 1 MB) to request a date. Please allow at least 2 weeks before following-up on your booking request. Send us your CD or link to a Myspace page that has an example of your music. Live concert performances will be recorded. Individual recording sessions are available.

Mature Video Game Night

Open play and team tournaments

You and the other surviving defenders of a devastated colony-world make a desperate attempt to lure the alien fleet away from Earth. Play HALO and other mature video games at The Den. Age Requirement: Teens entering 6th - 12th grades.

The Den or school ID required. Parent permission required. All participants must have a signed Mature Video Game Permission form (PDF 51.6 KB) on file.
