Want to do a concert at The Den? Submit a Concert Application Form (PDF 1 MB) to request a date. Please allow at least 2 weeks before following-up on your booking request. Send us your CD or link to a Myspace page that has an example of your music. Live concert performances will be recorded. Individual recording sessions are available.

Parkour
Come pump up your energy by participating in Parkour. Ronin Training in Maple Valley is doing an introductory event at the den to get you excited about what they have to offer.

Artist Expression Night
Through creative expression, young people hone their ability communicates, acquire cultural literacy, gain industry knowledge, and, most importantly, develop their voice as community leaders. Camp Fire

Battle of the Bands
Clash of the Dueling Muscians
FRIDAY - APRIL 19, 2013
We want you to be a part of the 2013 Battle of the Bands!Continuing a long and epic tradition, the Maple Valley Youth Council will host another Battle of the Bands. Expect large screaming audiences, and considerable prizes for the best three bands. In previous years, we gave away cool loot and recording time to the top performing bands.
Twelve bands will be chosen by Maple Valley Youth Council to compete in the 2013 Battle of the Bands. The majority of band members must be under 23 years of age. Each band will have twenty minutes of play time and your playlist must include at least one original song. Prizes will be awarded to the top three bands. If you want to perform, just download the Battle of the Bands Application Packet and start filling it out. Get it back to us by the April 12, 2013 registration deadline. Each individual band member must also complete and sign the Performer Contract (PDF 40 KB). All proceeds from band registrations benefit Maple Valley Youth Council projects.
Tech Specifications: The Den uses a Mackie Onyx 24.4 mixer into EAW mains and subs. The Den will provide a sound engineer for the event. Any specific sound requests must be submitted to The Den at least seven (7) days prior to show date.

Open House at the Den
On Thursday, September 13th, 2012 the youth programs of the Greater Maple Valley Community Center hosted an open house at The Den Youth Center from 6pm to 8pm for parents to learn more about the youth programs. Snacks will be provided!
Topics:
- The Den’s Hours and being open on Fridays starting at 1:00pm to provided students a place to go on early release Fridays.
- Asking Parents to support an activity, event, or class on Fridays from 1 to 3pm to help break up the 9 hours the Den is open on Fridays.
- Opportunities and programs that the Den and Community Center provide for youth
- Meet program staff and ask questions about youth programs
